# Final Stop column (Drivers/Assets table)

> What the earlier Final Stop column in Dispatch Planner v2 shows, where the location comes from, and how it differs from Available in.

Part of the [Dispatch Planner column reference](/en/help/loads-trips/dispatch-planner-columns).

The **Final Stop** column shows the city and state where a driver's last planned trip ends, or the address of their latest driver event if that event ends later. It is one of the earlier availability columns, together with **Available**, and only appears on accounts that still use them. If your account has **Available in** instead, use that column.

## At a glance

| | |
| - | - |
| **Table** | Drivers/Assets |
| **Shown by default** | Yes, on accounts that have it |
| **Sort** | Yes, by state and then by city |
| **Filter** | Pick a place and a radius (25, 50, 100, 250, or 500 miles), or type text to match |
| **Who sees it** | Only accounts that still use the earlier availability columns. If **Final Stop** is not in the Drivers/Assets table column configuration menu, your account uses **Available in** instead. |
| **Edit in the grid** | No |

## Where does the location come from?

The planner uses the same two sources as the **Available** column and shows whichever ends later:

1. **The last stop of the driver's last trip.** This is the trip whose last stop is scheduled furthest out. Only trips where the driver is Driver 1 count, and only trips that are not finished yet or were delivered recently.
2. **The address of the driver's latest driver event.** This is the event that ends last among the driver's events that have already started and have an address. It replaces the trip's last stop when the event ends after that stop is scheduled.

If the driver has neither, the cell shows a dash.

## How is this different from Available in?

* **Final Stop** always looks at the driver's last trip, even one weeks away. **Available in** shows where the driver is when their first long enough free stretch starts, which can be well before their last trip.
* **Final Stop** ignores driver events that have not started yet. **Available in** counts upcoming events, so it can show a Hometime or Vacation address before the event starts.

## Why does a driver show a location I did not expect?

**A future trip sets the location.** A driver who is free today but has a **Covered** trip next week shows where that trip ends.

**Typing and sorting use the trip, not the event.** When the cell shows a driver event's address, the text filter and sorting still use the last stop of the driver's last trip. A place-and-radius filter uses the address you see.

**Only Driver 1 counts.** For a two-driver team, the location follows Driver 1's trips and events.

## How do Find drivers and Find trips use this column?

**Find drivers.** When you click **Find drivers** on an **Open** or **Covered** trip, the planner filters this column to drivers within 250 miles of the trip's pickup. It also filters **Available**. The **Distance To Final** column appears so you can see how far each driver's final stop is from the pickup.

**Find trips.** When you click **Find trips** for a driver, the planner shows trips that pick up within 250 miles of the driver's final stop.

**Filtering by place leaves out blank rows.** A place-and-radius filter only matches drivers whose final stop has a location on the map.
