# Suggestions column (Drivers/Assets table)

> What the Suggestions column in the Dispatch Planner v2 Drivers/Assets table counts, who sees it, and how to find the drivers Dispatch Assist has open trips for.

The **Suggestions** column shows how many open trips Dispatch Assist suggests for each driver or team. Use it to spot the drivers Dispatch Assist already has work lined up for, then open those trips from the driver's sidebar.

## What does the number mean?

The number in the purple badge is how many different trips Dispatch Assist suggested for the row's assignment preference in its most recent run. Only trips that are still **Open** are counted. A dash means Dispatch Assist has no open trip to suggest for that driver right now.

## How do I see the suggested trips?

Select the driver's row. When the driver has at least one suggestion, the button in the sidebar that opens the trips list reads **Suggest trips** instead of **Find trips** or **Show trips**. Click it to see the suggested trips.

## Why don't I see the column?

**Dispatch Assist is not turned on.** The column appears only when Dispatch Assist is turned on for your company. Dispatch Assist is a paid add-on. See [Dispatch Assist](/en/help/loads-trips/dispatch-assist).

**You are looking at the drivers list for a selected trip.** The column is not part of the drivers list that opens for a single trip, such as after **Suggest drivers** or **Show drivers**. In that list, Dispatch Assist pins its suggested drivers to the top instead.

**The driver has no Active or Planned assignment preference.** Dispatch Assist only suggests trips for drivers who appear in the Drivers/Assets table, and every row comes from an assignment preference.
