# Truck Fleet column (Drivers/Assets table)

> What the Truck Fleet column in Dispatch Planner v2 shows, which truck the fleet belongs to, and how it differs from the Driver Fleet column.

The **Truck Fleet** column shows the fleet of the truck in the **Truck ID** column. Use it to plan by the fleet your trucks belong to, which can differ from the fleet on the driver's profile.

## Where does the fleet come from?

The fleet belongs to the truck on the driver's assignment preference, the same truck shown in the **Truck ID** column. On a team, Driver 1 and Driver 2 share that truck and its fleet.

The filter list offers every fleet in your company. Sorting is by fleet name.

## Why does the column show a dash?

**The preference has no truck.** If the driver's assignment preference has no truck, there is no truck fleet to show.

**The truck has no fleet.** If the truck is not assigned to a fleet, the column shows a dash. The filter has no option for trucks without a fleet, so filtering by fleet always leaves those drivers out.

## How is this different from the Driver Fleet column?

**Truck Fleet** reads the truck's fleet. The [Driver Fleet column](/en/help/loads-trips/dispatch-planner-columns/drivers/driver-fleet) reads the **Fleet** field on Driver 1's profile. The two can differ when a driver runs a truck from another fleet.
