# Driver(s) column (Trips table)

> What the Driver(s) column in the Dispatch Planner v2 Trips table shows, how team drivers appear, and how sorting and filtering by driver work.

The **Driver(s)** column shows the driver or drivers assigned to each trip. Use it to see who is covering a trip, or to narrow the table down to one driver's trips.

## What does the column show?

For a single driver, the cell shows that driver's name. For a team, it shows both names separated by a comma, Driver 1 first and then Driver 2. A trip with no driver assigned shows a dash.

## How do sorting and filtering work?

**Sorting uses Driver 1 only.** Trips are ordered by Driver 1's name. Driver 2 does not change the order.

**Filtering matches either driver.** If you type text, the table keeps trips where Driver 1's or Driver 2's name contains it. If you pick drivers from the list, the table keeps trips where any picked driver is Driver 1 or Driver 2.

**The list only offers drivers with an assignment preference.** If the driver you want is not in the list, type their name instead. To add the driver to the list, set up an assignment preference for them.
