# Origin Loading Type column (Trips table)

> What the Origin Loading Type column in Dispatch Planner v2 shows, what each loading type means, and why the filter does not find every trip.

The **Origin Loading Type** column shows how the freight changes hands at the stop where each trip starts. Use it to tell live loads, where the driver waits at the dock, apart from trailers that are dropped or hooked.

## What does each value mean?

| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Live** | The freight is loaded or unloaded while the truck waits. |
| **Drop\&Hook** | A trailer is dropped and another is hooked at the stop. |
| **Hook** | The driver hooks a trailer at the stop. A trip split with **Drop & Hook** saves the pickup that starts the second trip as a Hook. |
| **Drop** | The driver drops the trailer at the stop. This shows here only when the trip starts with a stop other than a pickup. |

The column reads the trip's first stop, which on most trips is the first pickup. A pickup can be **Live**, **Drop\&Hook**, or **Hook**.

## Why does the filter not find some trips?

**The filter list offers only Live and Drop\&Hook.** A trip whose first stop is **Hook** or **Drop** never matches the filter, whichever values you pick. This includes the second trip created when a trip is split with **Drop & Hook**. To find those trips, sort by the column so they group together.
