# Truck column (Trips table)

> What the Truck column in the Dispatch Planner v2 Trips table shows, what the Ext badge means, and how truck numbers sort and filter.

The **Truck** column shows the number of the truck assigned to each trip. Use it to check which truck is on a trip, or to find a truck's trips by typing its number.

## What does the column show?

The cell shows the truck number. A trip with no truck assigned shows a dash.

**A truck that is not in your fleet is marked Ext.** A blue **Ext** badge appears after the number. Hover over the badge to see **Truck is not in your fleet**. Trucks in your fleet show the number with no badge, so a number without a badge is one of yours. If the External marking is not turned on for your account, the cell shows only the number.

## How do sorting and filtering work?

**Filtering matches part of the truck number.** Type in the **Truck ID** box. The table keeps trips whose truck number contains what you typed, in upper or lower case.

**Truck numbers sort as text.** Numbers are compared character by character, so truck **1000** comes before truck **200**. Trips with no truck always sort to the end.
