Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Compliance column shows the compliance status of external drivers, the drivers that come from carriers you work with. Use it to see at a glance whether an external driver has passed vetting before you try to assign them a trip. Hover over the header to see its full name, External Compliance Status.

At a glance

What does each status mean?

A dash means no driver on the row has a compliance status. Company drivers never have one, so a row of company drivers always shows a dash. If you try to assign an external driver whose status is Failed or DNU to a trip, Alvys blocks the assignment.

Which status does a team show?

For a two-driver team, the column shows the most restrictive status of the two drivers, so a co-driver who cannot be assigned is never hidden behind one who can. From least to most restrictive, the order is:
  1. Eligible
  2. Pending
  3. Failed
  4. DNU
A driver with no status is skipped. If Driver 1 has no status and Driver 2 is Failed, the row shows Failed.

Where does the status come from?

The status is the Compliance Status field on the driver’s profile. The field appears only for external drivers, and changing it requires the “Edit Asset” permission. Clearing the field removes the status, and the column shows a dash.

Why does a driver show a status I did not expect?

The driver became a company driver. If an external driver is given a contractor type, Alvys treats them as a company driver and clears their compliance status. The column then shows a dash. The other driver on the team set the status. The column shows the most restrictive status across both drivers. Open each driver’s profile to see their own status. You cannot filter or sort by status. To find drivers with a given status, scan the badges in the column or check each driver’s profile.
