Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. Driver custom references can appear as their own columns in the Drivers/Assets table, one column per reference. Each column is named after the reference and shows the value from the driver’s profile. Use them to see, sort, and filter the driver details your company tracks without opening each driver.

How do I add a reference column?

A driver reference becomes a column when it is set to show in Dispatch Planner v2. You need access to Settings > Custom References, which the “Admin”, “Partner Admin”, and “Operation Manager” roles have.
  1. Go to Settings > Custom References and select the Drivers tab.
  2. Click New Reference, or click Edit on an existing driver reference.
  3. Under Include in Alvys, check Dispatch Planner v2.
  4. Click Save.
The column header is the reference’s name. A reference that is disabled in Settings does not appear as a column. See How to set up custom references.

How are values shown?

A driver with no value shows a dash.

How do team values work?

For a two-driver team, the column shows both values as Driver 1’s value, then Driver 2’s, separated by a slash. A driver with no value shows a dash in their place. If neither driver has a value, the cell shows a single dash. A team matches a filter when either driver’s value matches. Sorting uses Driver 1’s value only, and drivers with no value sort last.

How do I change a value?

The cells are read-only in the Drivers/Assets table. To change a value, open the driver’s profile and update the reference there.
