Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Trailer Status column shows the status of the trailer in the Trailer column as a colored badge. Use it to spot trailers that are in the shop or out of service before you assign a trip.

At a glance

What does each badge color mean?

The filter list offers all eight statuses.

Where does the status come from?

The status is the one set on the trailer’s profile in Assets > Trailers. The trailer is the one in the Trailer column: the trailer on Driver 1’s trip with the latest delivery date. In Shop can also change on its own. When a work order on the trailer is in progress, such as a repair order synced from Fleetrock, Alvys sets the trailer to In Shop. When a work order update leaves the trailer with no work order in progress, Alvys sets it back to Active.

Why does the column show a dash?

If none of Driver 1’s trips has a trailer, there is no trailer status to show and the column shows a dash.

How does sorting work?

Sorting orders drivers alphabetically by trailer status name, not by how serious the status is. Drivers with no trailer status sort last.
