Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Distance To Final column shows how far each driver’s Final Stop is from a place you choose, in miles. It appears only while you filter the Final Stop column by a place and a radius. Use it to sort drivers by how close they will finish to a trip’s pickup.

At a glance

How do I set the place it measures from?

The column measures from the place set in the Final Stop filter. There are two ways to set it:
  • Set it yourself. Open the filter on the Final Stop column and search for an address or place. The radius starts at 100 miles. To change it, pick 25, 50, 250, or 500 miles.
  • Use Find drivers. When you click Find drivers on an Open or Covered trip, the planner sets the place to the trip’s pickup with a 250-mile radius.
To hide the column, click Reset in the Final Stop filter.

How is the distance worked out?

The distance is a straight line between the place you picked and the driver’s Final Stop, not driving miles. It is shown in miles with up to three decimal places. If the Final Stop cell shows a driver event’s address, the distance is measured to that address.

Why is the column blank?

The driver’s final stop has no location on the map. The planner cannot measure a distance without one. A place-and-radius filter also leaves these drivers out, so you will rarely see a blank value.
