Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Qualification column tells you whether a driver’s license and medical card are current. Each row shows Qualified or Disqualified. Use it to rule out drivers whose paperwork has lapsed before you assign them a trip.

At a glance

How is qualification decided?

A row shows Qualified only when all of these are true:
  1. Driver 1’s profile has a License Exp. date, and that date has not passed.
  2. Driver 1’s profile has a Medical Card Exp. date, and that date has not passed.
  3. For a two-driver team, Driver 2’s License Exp. and Medical Card Exp. dates are also filled in and have not passed.
If any of these fails, the row shows Disqualified. For a team, one driver with a lapsed or missing date makes the whole row Disqualified. The check runs each time the table loads, so a driver moves to Disqualified on their own once a date passes, without anyone editing the driver.

Why does a driver show Disqualified?

A date is missing. A blank License Exp. or Medical Card Exp. field counts as not current. Fill in both dates on the driver’s profile. The other driver on the team has a lapsed date. Open both drivers’ profiles to find the one with the missing or past date.

Does the column check the trip I selected?

No. The column shows the same value whichever trip you select. It does not check endorsements, equipment, hours of service, or compliance status against the trip. To check those, use the Driver 1 / Driver 2 Endorsements, Equipment Types, Drive Time, and Compliance columns.

How does the filter work?

Pick Qualified to show only qualified rows, or Disqualified to show only disqualified rows. Picking both shows every row, the same as no filter.
