Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Subsidiary column shows the subsidiary set on Driver 1’s profile. Use it to plan within one company subsidiary, or to check why a driver drops out of the table when you select a trip.

At a glance

Where does the subsidiary come from?

The subsidiary comes from the Subsidiary field on Driver 1’s profile in Assets > Drivers. For a two-driver team, Driver 2’s subsidiary is not shown or used. If Driver 1 has no subsidiary, the column shows a dash. The filter list offers every subsidiary in your company, and sorting is by subsidiary name.

Why is the table filtered by subsidiary when I select a trip?

When you select an Open or Covered trip, the Drivers/Assets table shown for that trip is filtered to drivers whose subsidiary matches the subsidiary the trip’s load is tendered as. This filter applies even while the Subsidiary column is hidden. Drivers with no subsidiary drop out of that filtered list. To include them, add the Subsidiary column and clear its filter, or set the Subsidiary field on the driver’s profile.
