Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Cycle Time column shows how much on-duty time Driver 1 has left in their current duty cycle under hours of service, as last reported by your ELD. Use it to plan longer or multi-day trips, where a driver can run out of cycle hours before running out of daily drive time.

How is the value shown?

The time is shown as hours and minutes, for example 42:30 for 42 hours and 30 minutes left. It is the remaining cycle time in the most recent hours-of-service update your ELD sent for Driver 1. The Drive Time and Duty Time columns come from the same update.

Why is the cell blank?

Your ELD has not sent hours of service for this driver. Hours of service come from a connected ELD integration. If your company has no ELD connected, or the ELD has not matched this driver to a driver in Alvys, the cell stays blank. The driver has no cycle time left. A driver who has used all of their cycle time also shows a blank cell, the same as a driver with no data. Check the driver’s ELD if you need to tell the two apart. The row is a team and you are looking for Driver 2. The column shows Driver 1’s hours only. Driver 2’s hours are not shown anywhere in the table.

Why does a value look out of date or out of order?

The value does not count down on its own. The cell shows the last value your ELD sent. It changes only when the ELD sends a new update, and the column does not show when that update arrived. Sorting can put drivers out of order. Sorting by this column does not always follow the time left. For example, a driver with 10:00 left can sort between drivers with 1:00 and 2:00 left. To find drivers with enough time, use the filter instead, which compares times correctly. The filter hides blank rows. When the filter is set, drivers with a blank cell do not match, because there is no time to compare.
