Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Load Number column shows the number of the load each trip belongs to. Use it to see which trips are legs of the same load.

At a glance

How do load numbers relate to trip numbers?

A load moved by one driver or carrier has one trip. When a load is split, each leg gets its own trip number and every leg shows the same load number, for example load 12345 with trips 12345-1 and 12345-2. Sort by Load Number to line up the trips of one load next to each other. Some values belong to the load rather than the trip, such as Priority and Fleet. Changing one of them on a trip changes it on every trip with the same load number.

How does the filter match?

The filter finds trips whose load number contains what you type. The load number is not a link. To open the load, click the number in the Trip Number column.
