Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Suggestions column shows how many drivers Dispatch Assist suggests for each open trip. Use it to find the trips Dispatch Assist has matches for, and the open trips it could not match.

At a glance

What does the number mean?

The number, shown in a purple badge, is how many drivers Dispatch Assist suggested for the trip in its most recent run. Each row in the Drivers/Assets table counts once, so a two-driver team counts as one suggestion. Select the trip to see the suggested drivers pinned at the top of the Drivers list the planner opens for it. When you sort, a dash counts as zero.

How does the filter work?

  • Has Suggestions shows trips with at least one suggestion.
  • No Suggestions shows Open trips that have no suggestions. Trips in other statuses are left out, because they never get a count.
  • Picking both is the same as having no filter.

Why does a trip show a dash?

The trip is not Open. Dispatch Assist only counts suggestions for trips in Open status. Covered, Dispatched, and In Transit trips show a dash. A trip in Quoted status also shows a dash, even though the Status column shows it as Open. Dispatch Assist found no driver for the trip. An Open trip with no suggestions shows a dash rather than 0. See Dispatch Assist for what a driver needs before Dispatch Assist can suggest them.
