Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Priority column shows the priority set on the trip’s load: Critical, Important, or Caution. The whole row is tinted to match, so urgent trips stand out in the table. You can set or remove the priority right in the cell.

What does each priority mean?

How do I set or remove a priority?

  1. Click the Priority cell on the trip.
  2. Pick Critical, Important, or Caution. To remove the priority, pick the dash at the top of the list. You can type to narrow the list.
  3. The change saves straight away and the planner shows Priority updated. If the save fails, the planner shows Could not update priority and puts the previous value back.
You can also right-click a trip and choose Priority, which asks you to confirm before it saves and offers Remove to clear the priority. To set the priority on many trips at once, use Bulk Set Priority. See How to Use Bulk Actions in Dispatch Planner.

Why did other trips change too?

Priority belongs to the load, not the trip. Setting it on one trip sets it for every trip on that load, so all of that load’s rows pick up the new priority and row tint. The same is true when you remove it.

How do sort and filter treat trips with no priority?

Trips with no priority always sort last. Sort ascending to put Critical first, then Important, then Caution. Sort descending to reverse those three. In both directions, trips with no priority stay at the bottom. The filter has no option for “no priority”. You can pick Critical, Important, Caution, or any mix of them, but you cannot filter to trips without a priority.
