Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Origin State column shows the state or province code of the stop where each trip starts, such as TX. Use it to narrow the Trips table to trips starting in the states you cover, without setting a radius.

How does the state filter work?

The list holds every US state, Canadian province, and Mexican state, shown as a name and code, such as Texas (TX). Type in the Search states box to find one quickly. States you tick are listed first. A trip matches when the state on its first stop’s address is one of the states you picked. The match is on the state itself, not on distance, so a trip that starts just across a state line does not match. To match by distance instead, use the radius in the Origin Location filter. The column reads the trip’s first stop, which on most trips is the first pickup.

Why is the column blank?

The first stop’s address has no state. The column shows a dash, and the trip does not match any state you pick.
