Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Loaded Dispatch Mileage column shows the loaded miles each trip’s driver is paid on, for example 512 mi. It is the loaded half of the trip’s dispatch mileage, the figure driver settlements use. Use it to check pay miles across trips without opening each load.

At a glance

How is it worked out?

  1. When the trip’s loaded miles are calculated or entered, this column takes the same value as Total Miles: the distance from the trip’s first pickup to its last delivery.
  2. When the route is recalculated, this column follows Total Miles again, unless a driver on the trip has already been paid. Once a driver is paid, route changes no longer update it.
  3. If you edit loaded miles on the trip from driver settlements, only this column changes. Total Miles keeps its value.
The value is shown in whole miles. 0 mi is a real value, not a missing one. The filter starts on Less than or equal to, so entering 500 keeps trips with 500 loaded miles or less.

Why does it differ from Total Miles?

The loaded miles were edited in driver settlements. That changes the miles the driver is paid on without changing the trip’s calculated distance. The route changed after a driver was paid. Total Miles recalculated, but the paid miles stayed as they were when the driver was paid.

Why is the column blank?

No loaded miles have been calculated or entered for the trip. Trips with a blank value stay at the bottom whichever way you sort.
