Part of the Dispatch Planner column reference. The Number of Stops column shows how many stops each trip has, not counting waypoints. Use it to spot multi-stop trips at a glance before you assign them.

At a glance

How are stops counted?

The count includes every stop on the trip except waypoints. Waypoints, such as fuel stops, rest areas, or border crossings, are left out because nothing is picked up or delivered there. See Stop Type: Waypoint. The count covers the trip’s own stops only. If a load is split into several trips, each trip shows the stops on that trip, not the stops on the whole load.

Why is the number lower than the stops on the load?

Waypoints are not counted. A trip with a pickup, a fuel stop added as a waypoint, and a delivery shows 2. Other trips on the load are not counted. On a split load, stops that belong to another trip on the same load are not part of this trip’s count. The Appointments column uses the same count, so a trip showing 3 here reads as a number out of 3 in Appointments.
